We are pleased to announce our latest feature release to Escapia, the Advanced Housekeeping Module! This new feature is available to all Escapia clients and was released on August 24, 2009. If you are one of the companies that does not do cleaning every day (and that is probably most of you), then you will really benefit from our new housekeeping activities scheduling system.
With Escapia's housekeeping scheduling, you can create simple cleaning schedules, such as an Arrival Check before each guest arrives, a Check Out Clean on departure day, or cleaning towels and emptying the trash every other day. You can also create more advanced schedules such as specific cleans to be scheduled on specified days of the stay - determined by length of stay, arrival date range or season, guest type, unit, and unit group. In addition to creating basic housekeeping schedules, you can also predict labor hours and/or costs for your different unit types.
Escapia's Advanced Housekeeping Module also gives you the ability to set up Zones. Zones are whatever you want them to be – possibly geographic regions for one housekeeper or housekeeping crew, or separate condominium buildings (Building A, B, etc), different cities – it’s up to you. Zones are designed to allow you to group units so you can provide housekeeping schedules split in any way that you choose.
There are lots more features like overriding default cleaning activity schedules, adding in special housekeeping activities on request, and moving departure cleans to later days when there is not a guest arriving the same day as the departure.
